The sound philosophy behind BRAX
Music is emotion in acoustic waves. It touches people like no other medium. The BRAX brand was born with the idea to reproduce this audio experience as accurate and realistic as possible. Nothing shall stand in the way of pure musical enjoyment. Not even the automobile interior with its less than ideal acoustic conditions. Based on this vision, Audiotec Fischer creates legendary high-end hi-fi components for automotive applications since 1990. There is only one goal: absolutely uncompromising sound.
If high-end audio reproduction in cars is the question, BRAX will be the answer.
German high-end audio quality in true perfection
In order to assure maximum sound quality, all BRAX components are exclusively developed in Germany and manufactured with precise craftmanship. Only the finest components are used, all of which are manually selected and need to pass the strictest quality control. Audiotec Fischer is the only manufacturer of audiophile car-hifi products who performs the complex procedure of hand selecting the power transistors. it is a pure pursuit of perfection. Using self-developed measureing devices, all transistors are divided into more than 300 classes and paired with one another. The statement "Made in Germany" is therefore not a marketing phrase, but a real promise.
The BRAX processor | DSP
Due to the restrictive installation and acoustic preconditions, audiophile music reproduction in vehicles is a true challenge. Only in combination with a digital signal processorm, short DSP, is it possible to exploit all components and possibilities to the maximum.
The BRAX DSP for sure is the most advanced signal processor which sets absolute standards in terms of sound quality and functionality. Three extremely powerful audio processors allow a native sampling frequency of 192 kHz with full 32-bit resolution and 80 kHz audio bandwidth throughout the eintire signal path. HighRes audio files are reproduced erfectly down to every single detail and thus doubtlessly deserve the attribute "high-end high-fidelity".
In combination with our BRAX MATRIX amplifiers, a completely digital signal chain is possible. Negative influences due to unnecessary signal conversions can thus be eliminated.
BRAX amplifiers – sound masters with enormous power resources
Our BRAX amplifiers, which are manufactured exclusively built to order, have only one particular purpose: to amplify audio signals without any distortion or colouration. That's why we decided to dispense with any crossovers or other filter features in order to ensure pure listening pleasure.
An amplifier is only as good as its internal power supply. Audiotec Fischer makes an enormous effort in stabilizing all voltages of each module to assure unprecedented overall performance. Separate and stabilized power supplies guarantee optimum working conditions for the individual amplifier stages under all conceivable conditions.

The tweeters, midrange and woofers from BRAX are designed for authentic music enjoyment and are the epitome of pristine sound reproduction. In order to fully meet our high quality standards, all speakers are hand-selected for perfect match and solely delivered in pairs.
BRAX subwoofers – deep bass par excellence
BRAX subwoofers are unconditionally designed for maximum dynamics and exceptional tonality. All components were designed in such a way that they can transform enormous amounts of amplifier power into sound pressure without any compression effects.
The “MicroSphere” diaphragm coating is a unique - for a perfect sound experience, ceramic micro-hollow spheres embedded in a polymer layer, which are applied to the cone. This gives the hand-scooped cone a particularly high level of rigidity and, at the same time, excellent internal damping.
BRAX accessories – perfect support for excellent sound
One of the first products that was allowed to carry the name BRAX was a buffer capacitor or IPC (Intelligent Power Cap). This ensures a stable power supply for the amplifier during peak current draws - because a car hifi system is only as good as its weakest link. Accordingly, accessory components from BRAX are always designed to increase the listening pleasure to the maximum and to exploit the last bit of performance and sound quality from the components.
