To ensure every composition works optimally, an innovative approach was required for the development of the HELIX COMPOSE lineup. The diversity of materials and challenging angles in vehicle interiors leads to undesired sound reflections, making acoustics and optimal sound reproduction challenging. Therefore, every component was specifically developed for in-car use to ensure the best performance even in acoustically suboptimal environments. COMPOSE emerged as a platform that not only relies on standardized measurements but, thanks to its wide dispersion characteristics and adaptability to each vehicle model, offers a tailored sound experience.
Efficiency equals the most productive use of available resources and is therefore one key element of our “developed inside the vehicle, for the vehicle” philosophy. With this in mind, it was only logical to implement 3 Ohms – and partially even 2 Ohms – technology in our HELIX COMPOSE speakers. On one hand, this predestines our HELIX COMPOSE components as perfect playing partners for our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers as their electronics allow them to use their maximum power at these perfectly matched impedances, resulting in an efficiently achievable volume level and maximum sound pressure. On the other hand, 3 Ohms systems are popular when it comes to simple speaker swaps, granting our HELIX COMPOSE speakers adaption advantages in a variety of factory sound systems – even without an amplifier upgrade.

Another main element of the HELIX COMPOSE platform is its innovative approach in terms of in-car integration possibilities. At first sight, you’re dealing with highly efficient universal speakers that were developed
with wide dispersion characteristics inside the car to deliver an outstanding sound experience under difficult acoustical conditions. But in order to properly use this phenomenal groundwork, it was key
to standardize the installation process of the HELIX COMPOSE speakers. This ensures an always reproducible performance level while maintaining high grade adaption standards in line to the automotive industry,
offering several efficient and economical advantages in the daily business of car audio dealerships. As a result, we created our new smart, mechanical technologies that are exclusive to the HELIX COMPOSE platform:
FlexMount, FlexConnect, ProConnect, COMPOSE Connect and WireKits.

With the launch of the HELIX COMPOSE platform, we introduced our patented mounting system called FlexMount, which is based on especially developed adaptor rings. This technology allows you to install our i7, i5 and i3 speakers, as well as the BASIC tweeter, in an almost infinite number of car models – simply by swapping the optionally available adaptor ring. Thus, the universal loudspeaker effortlessly becomes a vehicle-specific loudspeaker, that can be easily installed in the original installation position of the vehicle in an acoustically optimized way. Depending on the specific COMPOSE speaker, said adaptor rings are either included or optionally available. We’re consistently working on expanding our FlexMount lineup while also offering free FlexMount 3D model downloads for individual customization, granting a high-grade of flexibility for our customers.

One terminal for all cases
Speakers with our FlexConnect terminal can easily be connected directly to the original wiring harness of the vehicle, maintaining the automotive standard of the plug connection as well as guaranteeing reverse polarity protection. Accordingly, there’s no need to cut any cables or damage any of the original equipment. Similar to our FlexMount system, this technology relies on specially developed, vehicle-specific adaptors.
Our FlexConnect terminal is adaptable to a wide range of OEM connector systems and we’re constantly working on expanding our lineup to ensure a professional and secure, but also comfortable integration into a great variety of vehicle models.

Our innovative ProConnect terminal is the new industry standard: A professional, automotive connector, allowing the secure use of conventional speaker cables, while also being ideally designed for operation with our WireKits. Furthermore, the connection is interlocked, offers reverse polarity protection and is electrically and mechanically highly resilient.
