The BRAX DSP – Upgrade Input SPDIF module expands existing DSP systems with the ability to integrate digital signal sources directly. This allows new playback devices to be added flexibly and creates the foundation for a fully digital signal chain – for maximum precision, exceptional detail fidelity, and a unique music experience.

It provides a direct path from digital signal sources into the BRAX DSP – with no detours and no compromises. This preserves the music signal in all its purity and creates the foundation for a unique sound and music experience full of precision and detail. The module features both an optical and a coaxial stereo input in SPDIF format. The optical input supports sampling rates from 12 to 96 kHz, while the coaxial input supports up to 192 kHz. Both inputs operate in the PCM data format and ensure interference-free and absolutely reliable signal processing. With a resolution of 24 bit, the music signal is transmitted completely and without alteration – exactly as provided by the source.
