It offers first-class converter technology with clear, natural music reproduction and gives existing systems the flexibility needed to realize new sound concepts or system expansions with precision.
The AK4490REQ D/A converter from Asahi Kasei uses Velvet Sound technology to achieve a particularly harmonious and distortion-free reproduction of the original sound. In combination with the TI/BurrBrown OPA1656 SoundPlus operational amplifier, it creates an analog signal path defined by musicality, transparency, and high precision.
Five software-selectable digital FIR output filters with different characteristics, as well as switchable output voltage of 2, 4, or 8 volts, allow flexible adaptation to individual preferences.
This high-end product – Made in Germany – is completed by its presentation in an elegant wooden case, underlining the exceptional standards of the BRAX philosophy.
